Supporting resilient food system planning
The Foodshed Information Service is a web-based decision support tool that helps users explore how food production areas supply population centres under current and future conditions. By combining crop production, population, infrastructure, and climate information, it enables the assessment of food system resilience, accessibility, and potential vulnerabilities. The tool supports medium- to long-term planning by integrating seasonal forecasts and future scenario analyses.
